What to expect at your consultation.

Price: $40

What to wear: Since we are practicing, please wear comfortable clothing. If you plan to wear a dress or skirt, we recommend wearing dance shorts underneath.

If you would like to invest in shoes, then these are a couple recommendations for purchasing your first pair of dance shoes, International and Supadance.

If you prefer to not to purchase dance shoes before committing to dance lessons, you will need to wear your own shoes. We advise that you wear comfortable shoes without a hard stop. For men, dress shoes are generally a good option. For women, flats are encouraged in the beginning. If you would prefer to wear heels, then please make sure they provide adequate arch and heel support.

If you are taking lessons to learn to dance at an event, please wear the shoes that you will be wearing during the event.

Discussion: The purpose of the consultation is to establish your dance goals and evaluate your skill level, so that Heather can develop a personalized dance lesson plan.

Dance: Expect to dance during your consultation. A dance partner is not necessary.
